Friends of Binsted School (FOBS)

Friends of Binsted Schools (FOBS) is the fundraising association, managed by the parents of the school. All parents and guardians of Binsted pupils are automatically members. We encourage the children to be involved in the fundraising efforts and invite parents, friends, grandparents and members of the local community to support our fundraising efforts.
- Raise additional funds to support and enhance the children’s learning experiences.
- Have fun by hosting ‘fun’ events which everyone can be involved in.
- Establish good relationships with the teachers, children, parents and local community.
As a registered charity, we have a formal committee who plan and run our events and we hold an annual AGM at the beginning of each academic year when the positions of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are elected.
The committee meets every month to discuss ideas and allocate funds. These meetings are open to anyone who wishes to attend and new faces are always welcome to participate and share fresh ideas. They are also a great chance to socialise and have fun too.
Those of you not wishing to take such an active role can still contribute by supporting the events that are organised.
