Building For The Future

Binsted Church of England primary School
Building for the Future

After raising £113,000 for our new classroom we now need to upgrade the school’s IT provision to match the lovely classrooms.

Project Proposal

We want to update our technology capability across the whole school in order to equip our children with the most up to date IT equipment.
We want to:
• Purchase 20 new laptops for students
•  Six new hard drives for classroom use
• Five staff planning and preparation laptops
• Purchase 10 new IPads for the children to use
• Improve our internet connectivity

21st Century Teaching

We want to provide the best kind of learning environment for the future of the school.
A versatile teaching and learning space with excellent IT facilities is a must in order that we can accommodate.

Binsted School was originally built in 1875 out of locally sourced building materials. It is one of the unique buildings that form the special environment, history and heritage of the Binsted Parish and part of the South Downs National Park. Unlike many rural schools that have closed in the last few years Binsted School is thriving, and indeed growing.
In order to continue with our success, we need to ensure we keep our technologies relevant, up-to date.
